While antidepressants have shown benefits for many, their daily requirements, side effects, and withdrawal challenges can leave people feeling dependent on them, even when the benefits have been exhausted. Many prescribers may lack confidence in managing antidepressant tapering, or may not be familiar with how to taper, leading to unnecessary long-term use. Come learn more about common questions and concerns when transitioning off from antidepressants, including information about discontinuation risks and important considerations.
