Movie Night! Music for Mushrooms

  • Greenfield Garden Cinema 361 Main Street Greenfield, MA, 01301 United States (map)

Organized by: Open Circle Alliance, Parents for Plant Medicine & ‘Yes on 4’ Campaign

Join us for the Western MA screening of Music for Mushrooms. Arrive early for a free pre-movie reception at 4:30 p.m. at the theater—enjoy networking, community building, and learning about the impactful work of local advocacy groups. The evening will conclude with a post-movie panel discussion with the filmmaker and local community leaders, including our own Rebecca Slater.

Music for Mushrooms is a narrative documentary highlighting the personal journey of shamanistic musician and filmmaker East Forest (Krishna-Trevor Oswalt) – a collaborator of the late Ram Dass – whose bold experiments pair music with guided psychedelic experiences to create spaces of healing for a fractured world.

The spaces created by East Forest are not strictly therapeutic or ritual - and Open Circle Alliance believes that these can be a container for powerfully transformative experiences nonetheless. If you feel the same, or are curious to learn more, please join us before the movie to gather and connect!
